Dark Horse Nominees

I figure when we look back on every year in the Oscars there is always nominees that nobody see's coming. Except a couple of those blogs that make weird predictions on purpose. So I'll try and notice the possible nominees. 

Best Picture and Director

Drive-Drive was an art house film that critics loved the crap out of . The people that love this film love to death. It had great performances all around especially from Albert Brooks .The main factor that separates this from most other films on the list is that it is a very very artistic film It has been getting noticed in some award shows and easily could be a stealth candidate.

The Ideas of March-The Ideas of March was a highly anticipated film from George Clooney again had great performances all around, reviewed well and okay box office. The problem was every one forget about it when The Artist,The Descendants and Hugo started getting attention. However The Ideas of March has been revived with the Golden Globes and is now fresh in the academy minds.

Tinker,Tailor,Solider,Spy- Tinker,Tailor,Solider,Spy is receiving great reviews and Gary Oldman is definitely in contention for a Best Actor nomination. Tinker,Tailor,Solider,Spy will probably do very well in the BAFTA's.

Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 2-Harry Potter like every film on this list(except drive who had a terrible box office) had great reviews,Great Box office and good performances all around. Harry Potter has an aggressive adverting campaign and could be recognized for being able to go for eight films.

Bridesmaids-Now remember this is called Dark Horse Nominees. Thank goodness none of you who read this know how to leave comments or I would be getting crap for this. Bridesmaids has gotten great reviews,great box office and good commercial appeal. Bridesmaids has been on top ten lists,Gotten SAG nominations and Golden Globe nominations as well.
