Before I write this just to be clear I know The Artist,Beginners,Drive isn't on this list there aren't just eligible for being nominated.

Snubs

War Horse-War horse has been picking up lots of steam I've even been reading articles claiming it to be the favorite for best picture so a best adapted screenplay nod would seem customary. But that wasn't the case. This definitively will damper the screenplay chances and possibility could effect it's best picture chances as well.

Tree of Life-I'm not incredibly surprised by this The Tree of Life has been snubbed by a lot of award shows and seems to getting forgotten by it still seems to be last place for a nomination by the skin of it's teeth.

Surprise Inclusions

Bridesmaids-I fully except this to be nominated for original screenplay  so this isn't a shock but any time Bridesmaids is recognized I have to mention it.

The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo-This film has definitely been buried under the buzz of The Artist,Hugo,The Descendants and War horse but it could slip into this category if on of the favorites is snubbed.

Conclusion

WGA was standard besides War Horse there was no surprises and maybe no impact.
