I'm unsure if the Oscars are going to continue with the 5% rule or go back to 10 or 5 nominees so I'll write in 10.(they should go back to 10 or 5)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Best Picture</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>The Surrogate(PREDICTED WINNER)</b>-Although a lot of people are predicting Lincoln,The Great Gatsby or The Master I'm going to go with The Surrogate. Although films that could out of Sundance usually don't do as well as films out of Cannes. The Surrogate looks like a personal well acted,well directed film that the academy can get behind. The Academy loves to award an underdog. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b> Django Unchained</b>- Quentin Tarantino is back with a western that hopefully will fit his style and be a great follow up to Inglorious Bastards</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>The Master</b>-After There Will be Blood anything that Paul Thomas Anderson touches will turn to gold and with three strong(maybe two) actors at it's helm this film looks like a solid best picture contender and possibility a winner.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b> Lincoln</b>- After the somewhat disappointment of War Horse Steven Spielberg is back with Lincoln a film that if done right could sweep the Oscars and if done wrong could fall somewhere critically between War Horse and The Iron Lady. I don't feel as strongly about Lincoln as I previously did mostly because of War Horse winning no Oscars and my disliking of War Horse but that could easily change.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>The Dark Knight Rises</b>-The academy usually likes to one or two summer blockbusters and if Dark Knight Rises is good and there is more than 5 nominees(the 5% rule could hurt if if it remains) then it will get nominated. To quote another award site if your not going to nominate really good summer blockbuster then just go back to 5 nominees.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Brave</b>-If Brave is a return to form for Pixar then this is almost a lock. If Brave is jut simply good and not great then a best picture would seem out of the question but all signs are pointing to a nomination at this point.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Gravity</b>-Coming off of Children of Men Alfonso Cuaron proved that he knows how to do really good science fiction. With Sandra Bullock coming off an Oscar and a terrific turn in Extremely Loud and Close and George Clooney coming off a runner up best actor run this could be an amazing science fiction film.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Life of Pi</b>- With great source material,a great director and a child actor at it`s helm this film could be sentimental story that gets to academy voters and gets a nomination.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>The Great Gatsby</b>: The Academy may feel the need to reward a historical costume piece with great acting, costumes from great source material. I'm worried about the direction in this but the film can mantain to be good. It is a film that actors and old members of the academy can get behind.<br />
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Argo</b>- After The Town and Gone Baby Gone Ben Affleck has proved himself as a great director and will be able to turn Argo in a very suspenseful and entertaining film.<br />

You sit and think about them for a long time and at some you come to a logical conclusion. However maybe you see an argument you didn't think off, a long lost stat that might me important and simply you feel you have to go with your gut.Then you have to sit down and rethink it again and again. However although you may be wrong you at some time your going to have to lock your predictions in once the ceremony has began. Last there was several categories Art Direction, Cinematography and Costume Design that I kept changing my mind around. Here are some of those categories for me.<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Best Original Screenplay</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
This one is a dead heat and probably the closest race of the night. Best picture winners are always going to be favorites in the category but Woody Allen hasn't made a best picture nominations for a long time and they make want to reward him. Right now I'm predicting The Artist but I'm bound to switch this one.</div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Best Visual Effects</span><br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
I would <span style="text-align: center;">disappointed if Hugo won this but it is very close right. The Oscars like to award best picture nominees in this category and are very afraid of motion capture. Rise of the Planet of the Apes has amazing special effect , a box office hit and an incredible lead performance to boot. I'm currently against the curve predicting Hugo again that's bound to change.</span></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Best Documentary</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
This one is hard to call unlike last year considering that the academy snubbed any real favorite here. It's a dead heat between Pina,Paradise Lost 3: Purgatory and Undefeated. Of course you can never count out the Weinstons, Pina has commercial appeal and Paradise Lost 3: Purgatory appears to be what most people/sites are predicting . Currently I'm predicting Pina but that's subject to change.</div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;">The Shorts</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
Don't even get me started in this category. Considering I haven't seen any of these films and don't know how to see the films(please comment if you do)this is incredibly hard to predict. It doesn't help the academy takes these categories very seriously. Currently I'm predicting Time Freak, The Flying Books and Cherry Blossom but that could change as well.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Costume Design</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
This is a category that fourth nominees all could easily in the category can win. The Artist very slimy has the lead but the academy loves to give the costume to very old period pieces Anonymous and Jane Erye could take it because of that reason. Hugo could benefit from having fantasy and period Costumes and a abundance of nominations. I still believe The Artist could win but that's subject to change.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>What Categories give you a headache? What predictions do you think you will change repeatedly or at the last minute?</b></div>
</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
</div>Ezeled42http://www.blogger.com/profile/05271165668293415651noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2906601032180548798.post-23918182420618760152012-02-23T11:32:00.000-08:002012-02-23T12:48:32.882-08:00Should /Will WinIf you read this site on a general bias.(hahahahaha) then you know that I usually don't do a lot of should win in my commentary on the races. So since award season is so close to being over I figured I break that tradition and publish my Should Win/Will Win.(these predictions could change before theo ceremony.)<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Best Picture</span></div>
<b>Will Win</b>: The Artist has won almost everything it could get it's hands on(besides the SAG) is backed by the Weinstons and is an homage to silent film this one's in the bag.<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: -webkit-auto;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: -webkit-auto;">
<b>Should Win</b>: It's tempting to pick The Artist but I'm going with Hugo. Although The Artist and Hugo were both silent film homages Hugo was the better one. Hugo showed the joy and imagination that could come from film with beautiful cinematography, art direction, costumes and special effects.</div>
<div style="text-align: -webkit-auto;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: -webkit-auto;">
<b>Should Have Been Nominated</b>: Besides the obvious Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and Drive(which at the <u><b>very least</b></u> should have been considered). I`m going to go with Warrior. Warrior was well acted , written and just an great all around film. Sadly it was a commercial failure and failed to garner any attention(in the best picture category)</div>
<div style="text-align: -webkit-auto;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: -webkit-auto;">
<br /></div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Best Director</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Will Win</b>: After predicting a split last year I realize that splits are so rare. I stand firm in my belief that the academy hates to split simply because the academy believe it shows they made the wrong choice. Even though that is untrue Micheal Hazanavicius will still win because of that sole fact.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Should Win</b>: Even if Martin Scorsese can't win best picture Martin Scorsese truly deserves best picture showing a pure love for film that Hugo balancing his visionary style and physical comedy his direction took a film that could have been average in the hands of any other filmmaker and turned it into something extraordinary.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Should Have Been Nominated</b>: Nicolas Winding Refn really breathed life into Drive and had an amazing vision behind the camera. It's really sad how Drive will probably considered more of a student film that an amazing art house action film. Hopefully Nicholas Winding Refn can get awards heat he deserves for Only God Forgives.(if it's really good)</div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Best Actor</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Will Win</b>: Jean Dujardin has come out of nowhere and taken the momentum from both Geroge Clooney and Brad Pitt. Although I smell an upset coming from Brad Pitt. I'm going to have to go with Jean Dujardin even though I think that won't work out for the academy in the long run.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Should Win</b>: I hate for it seem like I'm boarding the Brad Pitt train but after watching Moneyball it's really amazing how great he was as Billy Beane. If he was n newcomer there would be no way that he would lose this but I honestly think that people take his performance for granted.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Should Have Been Nominated</b>: Micheal Fassbender if not only for the reason that he been in and been really good in so many films. The film he was best in was definitely Shame and he deserved a nomination.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Best Actress</span></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Who Will Win: </b>Viola Davis after the winning the SAG and the critics choice award will probably take this award. Meryl Streep has won before and The Iron Lady isn't a good enough of a film for the rest of the guilds to ban together. However Meryl Streep will always be a threat.<br />
<br />
<b>Should Win</b>:This one is a tough won considering both Viola David and Meryl Streep really both deserve it but I'm going to go with Meryl Streep for creating a character right down to the breathing and breathing life into<br />
<br />
<b>Should Have Been Nominated</b>: I honestly didn't watch a lot of best actress this year so I could be wrong but I'm going to go with Tilda Swinton for her haunting performance in My Life with Kevin. (kidding) We Need to Talk About Kevin.</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Best Supporting Actor</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Who Will Win</b>: Christopher Plummer has had this one for a long time. Yes there is support for Max Von Sydow but it's almost the same story as last year a supporting actor cleans up all the critic and guild awards and at the last minute people see it turning a different way. I don't see it happening.()</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b><br /></b><br />
<b>Who Should Win</b>: Christopher Plummer was very good turning in a tour de force performance in Beginners.<br />
<br />
<b>Should Have Been Nominated</b>: Alberta Brooks really deserved to be nominated although he wasn't in the film for a very long he made a lasting impression and a terrifying villain.<br />
<b><br /></b><br />
<b><br /></b><br />
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />
<div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Best Supporting Actress</span></div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Who Will Win</b>: Octavia Spencer almost has this one in the bag The Sag, Critic Choice Awards and other all support for the Help will bring her the gold.()Although she could lose due to a split and some Artist love.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Should Win</b>: Although I think Octavia Spencer was very good and Melissa McCarthy certainly was funny. Jessica Chastain should take home the prize. She fully embodied her character and was able to actually bring humor and depth to her character. Plus she was very good (if not better in many films this year)</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Should Have Been Nominated</b>: Shailene Woodly</div>
</div>
<div>
</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>Best Original Screenplay</b></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Who Will Win</b>: The Descendants</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Who Should Win</b>: Moneyball</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Should Have Been Nominated</b>: 50/50</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>Best Adapted Screenplay</b></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Who Will Win</b>: The Artist (very close this might change)</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Who Should Win</b>: A Separation</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b> Should Have Been Nominated</b>: The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<br />
Original Screenplay: <strong>Midnight in Paris,</strong> Written by Woody
Allen; Sony Pictures Classics<br />
<br />
Adapted Screenplay: <strong>The Descendants</strong>, Screenplay by
Alexander Payne and Nat Faxon & Jim Rash; Based on the novel by Kaui Hart
Hemmings; Fox Searchlight<br />
<br />
Documentary Screenplay:<strong> Better This World,</strong> Written by Katie
Galloway & Kelly Duane de la Vega; Loteria Films<br />
<br />
Paul Selvin Award*: <strong>The Help</strong>, Written by Tate Taylor <br />
<br />
It's time to look at the Screenplay races.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Best Adapted Screenplay</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Who Will Win</b>: The Descendants had been the favorite for a long time but suddenly over the last month the tide seemed to be turning toward Moneyball. However I realized that I may have jumped the gun predicting Moneyball. The Scripter and the WGA puts The Descendants as the favorite for best adapted screenplay.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Who Could Win</b>: Moneyball still has the Critics Choice awards on it's side and the prestigious name of Aron Sorkin and Steve Zaillian behind it. The WGA doesn't always win as proven by the Precious win.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>Winner</b>: The Descendants</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Best Original Screenplay</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Who Will Win</b>: The WGA means much less in this race considering that The Artist isn't even eligible but I still I think that Midnight in Paris has the edge. It's been a long time since Woodly Allen has had a best picture nomination and even won a Oscar. An Oscar could be considered a reward for and a prize to keep on telling him to make great films.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Who Could Win</b>: The Artist will always be a threat in every category and almost especially in this category considering that it's extremely rare that a best picture loses this category.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>Winner</b>: Midnight in Paris</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">

Second I'm assuming any one reading this is an amateur if you read Oscar sites or happen to write one you probably don't need my help.<br />
<br />
<b style="font-size: x-large;">Do Your Homework</b>- Make sure to read creditable Oscar sites Award Circuit,Awards Daily and Never Too Early Movie Predictions are all very good at not just predicting but explaining the Oscars. Take more than 5 minutes to read the commentary and explanation.<br />
<br />
<b style="font-size: x-large;">Don't Copy and Paste</b>-First off it cheating if you just take all their (the sites) predictions. If you agree with most of their predictions more than the reason than they said so then that's fine. But Remember there not always right it's the unknowns that can call the upsets don't be afraid to shake it up when it a close race or hard to call.<br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large; font-weight: bold;">Don't be swayed by Personal Opinion/Knowledge</span>- It always tempting to look at an Oscar prediction sheet and say hey I know that guy I'll predict him . A lot of Oscar predictors are going to swayed by seeing Meryl Streep or Brad Pitt name on the list and just picking it for that reason alone . Also if you really like a movie with zero chance of winning don't pick it. I don't care if someone thought Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close is the best movie of the decade it isn't going to win so don't pick it.<br />
<br />
<b style="font-size: x-large;">Stick to Your Picks</b>- If you so adsorbed with the ceremony that your changing your picks last minute then one you'll kick yourself if you change it too the wrong thing and two there a good chance you'll change it too the wrong prediction. A good rule of thumb is the favorites almost always win so pick the favoritism(minus a few).<br />
<br />
<b style="font-size: x-large;">Pick A Upset or Two</b>- Every year there will one or two upsets so you should predict a upset but remember there is a time and a place to predict a upset. Don't go predicting Jonah Hill in the supporting actor category().<br />
<br /><br />
<br /><br />

When you decided to award the best film of the year your always open yourself up to criticism. That's why I'm not as hard on the academy as other people. Say if I was more popular and I awarded best picture of the year. If I awarded Tree of Life or Drive(which I wouldn't have) people would have been writing in the comment section that those films were art house crap. If I had awarded the Help or War Horse( which I wouldn't have) people would have been writing that those films were just mediocre. If I awarded Hugo people could be writing hard to that Hugo was not a great Martin Scorsese film and I was a Martin Scorsese fan boy. I could go on but if I award The Artist it's hard to criticize no one besides hardcore silent film fan boys would be upset it would be the safe pick and it seems what the academy will pick this year. It's not a bad choice it's not a choice I hate there would be so many better choices. Hugo,Harry Potter yes and even Drive would be films that people would look back and be smarter choices. But the academy is confident to make the safe choice so it time to look back at when the academy should have made a bolder untimely smarter choice. (to be very clear I don't dislike any of these films they weren't even bad choices except Crash and The King Speech just there could have been smarter choices)</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Slumdog Millionaire</span>- Slumdog was the underdog that went all the way to top sweeping the Oscars but was that the sole reason that it won. I felt that the academy want to try and remain important to the fan boy after the terrible snub of the Dark Knight(which they spent the last 3 years trying to fix) and to a much lesser extent Wall-E. Choosing the Dark Knight would have given the Oscars much more important o a younger hipper generation that quite frankly has given up on the Oscars. It's terrifying to nominate let allow give best picture a comic book film that would scare the older generation and they were content to hand it to Slumdog Millionaire.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>The Bolder/Smarter Choice</b>: The Dark Knight</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;">The Hurt Locker</span>- Frankly I was happy when this film won mainly because Avatar didn't but this shouldn't have won even though James Cameron should have won best director) The Hurt Locker was a suspenseful unflinching character study but it never wowed me, never blew me away. Although handing best picture to an animated kids film being bold sounds ridiculous it would have been the smarter/bolder choice. It would have brought new life to animated films satisfied the public and brought more of a general audience to the Oscars . The most important it would have been deserved Pixar films were always in the top 5 but finally Up was good enough to be the top film. This really showed how the animated film category really screwed over Pixar as the academy figured if a film won best animated there was no point to hand it best film.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>The Bolder/Smarter Choice</b>: Up</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;">King Speech</span>- This was the time when he academy really proved that they were able to go with the safe pick over the right one. It fit the bill of a perfect academy film when the academy felt as if they were losing touch with there roots .In reality The Social Network,Inception,True Grit,127 Hours,Black Swan all would have been smarter and bolder choices. I'm going to have to center on the Social Network this one is more the smarter than bold but who cares The Social Network was the best film of the year and it deserved it period. However if the academy wanted to be really bold Black Swan would have really showed that they were unafraid of R ratings, pure art films and horror films( Black Swan was horror film as well as a an art film)</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>The Smarter Choice</b>: The Social </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>The Bolder Choice</b>: Black Swan.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Crash</span>(Honorable mention)- Well I can`t really say this wasn`t bold because it was just for all the wrong reasons. However Brokeback mountain should won this and wouldn`t have pissed off so many people brought the rage of the internet don`t upon and sent a boatload of people running from the Oscars.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>The Smarter Choice</b>: Brokeback Mountain </div>Ezeled42http://www.blogger.com/profile/05271165668293415651noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2906601032180548798.post-78586723309302136262012-02-13T11:59:00.000-08:002012-02-13T12:34:48.070-08:00BAFTA'sIt seems that that until the Oscars were just going through the motions now and although it may have been that way since the DGA it's even more so true now.<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: -webkit-auto;">
<br /></div>
<img alt="Michel Hazanavicius, The Artist" height="519" src="http://img.metro.co.uk/i/pix/2012/02/13/article-1329152424697-11B68677000005DC-38825_466x519.jpg" width="466" /><br />
<span style="font-size: x-large;"><br /></span><br />
<span style="font-size: x-large;">Surprise Wins</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b style="font-size: x-large;">Jean Dujardin Best Actor</b>- This isn't completely surprising considering how well The Artist did I fully expected this to go to Gary Oldman considering the BAFTA knack for British actors but I think I can now fully commit to predicting Jean Dujardin for best actor at the Oscars. Allow I won't be surprised to see George Clooney win and most likely Jean Dujardin will fade into nothingness () after the Oscars although I hope he doesn't.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b style="font-size: x-large;">Harry Potter Visual Effects</b>- This race definitely seemed to be between Hugo and Rise of the Planet of the Apes but maybe because of this Harry Potter could enter into the race. I doubt it considering it probably won because it's British.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b style="font-size: x-large;">The Artist Best Cinematography</b>- Considering that The Artist has won any awards in this category this seems to be out of nowhere I suppose the BAFTA decided to hand The Artist as much awards as they could.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b style="font-size: x-large;">Senna Best Editing</b>- Bet if a hundred people read this only about 50 of them would know the film Senna was although I'm not going to underestimate the power of film nerds. That film was so forgotten it didn't even make the best documentary shortlist I want to repeat that it didn't make the shortlist. So umm ?????????????????????.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b style="font-size: x-large;">The Artist Original Screenplay</b>- At this point it's going to be a very close race between Midnight in Paris and The Artist with this race although I still believe that Midnight in Paris has the edge but sightly and I could be wrong.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: x-large;">What it Means</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
The BAFTA this year seem to have little two no impact they seem to echo a lot of what the academy will think except maybe in a few of the categories it will do few. I think the best actor will most likely go to Jean Dujardin now but it could easily change. Best actress is very close but the BAFTA bias nature really makes me think that Viola Davis still has the edge. Ultimately in some of the smaller categories such as the screenplay it won't make a difference.</div>Ezeled42http://www.blogger.com/profile/05271165668293415651noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2906601032180548798.post-59901522000549585722012-02-10T21:00:00.000-08:002012-02-10T21:00:56.472-08:00Jean Dujardin Villain AuditionsI usually don't post links but I found this really funny especially after all the gloom that everyone has fallen into over most of the Oscar races being so predictable.<div>

<br />
It time to look at all of the original score and although the International film music critics don't have an original song category the original song category.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: x-large;">Best Original Score</span></div>
<b>Who Will Win</b>: The Artist definitely is the favorite The Artist favorite here and really deserves to be. The Artist score was brilliant, funny and sad at all the time. Ludovic Bource has been winning this award all over the place and is really going to benefit from the best picture runner front runner status. Plus Ludovic Bource hasn't won before<br />
<b><br /></b><br />
<b><br /></b><br />
<b>Who Could Win</b>: Receiving two nominations and a boatload of nominations from the IFMC could help him win an Oscar. War Horse is a really good score and a best picture nomination for War Horse help. But a lack of a best animated feature nomination for Tintin could hurt him and the academy could decide to go for John Williams next year for Lincoln(I'm assuming he composing that score if I'm wrong please comment)<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: x-large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Winner: The Artist</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: x-large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: x-large;">Best Original Song</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Who Will Win</b>: This category is a very weird category to call considering the WTF of the nominations. I'll go with Man or Muppet considering how much better known and critical acclaimed The Muppet's is than Rio. Plus it's would be really awesome to see one of the Flight of the Conchords get an Oscar.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Who Could Win</b>: Real in Rio could win based on how little the academy cares for this category considering how much very known The Muppet's is. Although some people consider Man or Muppets repetitive and The Muppet's don't have an great record with the Oscars. (also why are the songs not being performed another WTF)</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Winner: Man or Muppet</span></div>Ezeled42http://www.blogger.com/profile/05271165668293415651noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2906601032180548798.post-41898853300908536532012-02-08T09:08:00.000-08:002012-02-08T09:08:58.613-08:00Special Effects RaceIn honor of the the VES.<br />

<div>
It's time to looks at the Visual effects race which is probably a much closer race than people think.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: x-large;"><br /></span><br />
<span style="font-size: x-large;">Best Visual Effects</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>What Will Win</b>: Rise of the Planet of The Apes definitely is the favorite here having some groundbreaking special effects with the motion captured apes . It also helps that due to the amount of people campaigning for Andy Serkis for an best supporting(should have been a lead) actor nod the academy could considered this category a way to award him. Summer blockbuster has done well in this category.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>What Could Win</b>: The race for the dark horse in this race could between Hugo and Harry Potter both with equal chances at upsetting Rise of the Planet of the Apes. But due to Hugo status as a possible best picture upser and great showing at the VES I'm going to have to give it to Hugo. This really if the academy decides to view the 3-D in Hugo in the cinematography,editing or visual effects category. However there is still some very good special effects in this movie even without the 3-D . The academy loves to give a movie high in the best picture standing. As shown by the Tintin snub the academy doesn't like (or afraid of) motion capture.<br />
<br />
<b>Dark Horse</b>: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows could take this if the academy decides to reward them for there amazing box office an long influential franchise. The best special effects every in the series. But it's does has a deciding lack of nomination. If the academy hasn't rewarded them before there no reason to think they would reward them now.</div>Ezeled42http://www.blogger.com/profile/05271165668293415651noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2906601032180548798.post-6445840221613286612012-02-06T11:12:00.000-08:002012-02-06T11:12:49.627-08:00Best Editing and Cinematography Race.<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: x-large;">Best Editing</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Who Will Win</b>- Although this category isn't a lock for a best picture( over the past ten years a best picture has won 5 times) I still believe this category will go to the Artist. A best picture is always a default in this category and for the default to lose another film editing needs to stand out., Although I believe Moneyball editing stood out it doesn't have a realistic chance. Hugo the Artist biggest competition editing really didn't stand out enough to win.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Who Could Win</b>: Hugo editing although never standing out actually included several scenes of how editing is done also it's amazing use of 3-D could help it in this race. However the use of 3-D could be honored in the cinematography race instead. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><b><br /></b></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>Winner</b>: The Artist</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: x-large;">Best Cinematography</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Who Will Win: </b>Hugo use of 3-D and filming of the filming of silent films should be enough to give this film best cinematography. Although it sometimes seems that the academy loves to give best cinematography to a films with lots of big expansion outdoor shots. However War horse and tree of life could split that vote. Also last year going to inception proved the academy can give it to indoor more subtle cinematography.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Who Could Win</b>: It's hard to pin point a favorite to upset Hugo here because I believe that War horse and the Tree of Life has an equal chance at upsetting Hugo and there always a possibility of an Artist sweep. But I have to go with the Tree of Life for the sole reason. that The tree of life is loved by a lot of people enough people to give it a best picture nominations. If those members of academy feels that it is that good of a film it seems this would be the category to award it in without giving it best picture.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>Ezeled42http://www.blogger.com/profile/05271165668293415651noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2906601032180548798.post-60960279071959532352012-02-05T22:31:00.000-08:002012-02-05T22:31:04.820-08:00Best Actor and Actress Races<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: x-large;">Best Actor</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Who Probably Will Win/Who Should Win-</b>As you noticed I may have changed the category to who probably will win because it is that close. I going to have to pick George Clooney by the skin of his teeth because he is more well known.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Who Could Win</b>-Jean Dujardin he seemed to be out of this race until the SAG were awarded. I might be tempted to give him this race but it's one award.() I'm not going to do that based on one award. Yes it's an important award but an unknown winning is unlikely.()</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
By the way I think the best performance of the years was Andy Serkis in Rise of the Planet of the Apes.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: x-large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>Winner</b>:George Clooney</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: x-large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: x-large;">Best Actress</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Who Will Win</b>: This race is very close it could either but Viola Davis had been the favorite for a while now and I think the SAG has definitely made her the obvious front runner. (I'm not going to talk about the race card by the way) </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Who Could Win/Who Should Win</b>: Meryl Streep has an aggressive(almost too aggressive) marketing campaign fueled by the Oscar machine that is Weinston unfortunately once again it's going to come down to the fact that's she's won before.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>Winner</b>:Viola Davis</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
()*Fate could come and kick me in the balls.</div>Ezeled42http://www.blogger.com/profile/05271165668293415651noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2906601032180548798.post-6779993152172810292012-02-05T20:39:00.000-08:002012-02-05T20:39:20.930-08:00Screenplay Races<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: x-large;">Adapted Screenplay</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Who Will Win</b>: The Descendants winning best adapted screenplay is getting closer and closer to a lock. The Descendants isn't going to walk empty handed since best picture and best director are getting less and less likely with each passing award show and even best actor being in doubt best adapted screenplay seems like the perfect way to reward the film. Also it has won many critic award.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Who Could Win/Who Should Win</b>: Moneyball manages to make baseball funny and exciting at the same time. However Aron Sorkin and Steve Zaillian have both won before and Moneyball isn't as much of a player in the best picture race.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>Winner</b>: The Descendants</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: x-large;">Original Screenplay</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Who Will Win/Who Should Win</b>:Midnight in Paris I originally thought this race was going to go The Artist but after wining best screenplay at the golden globes everything turned around. Woody Allen is definitely the favorite now. It doesn't hurt that Midnight in Paris is consider one of the best Woody Allen films in many years.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Who Could Win</b>: I don't want to have to put The Artist in every could win category because of it's best picture category but this one is definitely fits the bill original screenplay tend to go the best picture winner but the academy also tends to give best original screenplay to a Dialogue centered film though and quite obviously The Artist isn't that.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><b><br /></b></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>Winner</b>:Midnight in Paris</span></div>Ezeled42http://www.blogger.com/profile/05271165668293415651noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2906601032180548798.post-15216208735960752142012-02-05T17:07:00.000-08:002012-02-05T17:08:06.066-08:00Best Animated Feature RaceBest Animated Feature: “Rango”<br />

<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Although I consider the Annie awards to be completely biased against Pixar and toward Dreamworks. This seems like the perfect time to examine the best animated race.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Animated Feature</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Who Will win/Who Should Win</b>- Rango with Tintin out of the race has this award locked up. It has won almost every critic award in sight,had solid box office, critical acclaim and an decent marketing.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Who Could Win</b>- It hard to pinpoint a film that could upset Rango but I was too predict a upset it would be for Puss in Boots. Puss in boots received good critical praise, solid box office and a strong marketing campaign.</div>Ezeled42http://www.blogger.com/profile/05271165668293415651noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2906601032180548798.post-61223824127801206312012-02-05T15:23:00.000-08:002012-02-05T15:23:38.785-08:00Art Direction and Costume Design RaceIn honor of The Art Direction Guilds tonight.<br />
<br />
Feature Film, Period: <strong>Hugo</strong><br />
Feature Film, Contemporary:
<strong>The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo</strong><br />
Feature Film, Fantasy: Harry
Potter and the Deathly Hallows<br />
Episode of a Multi-Camera, Variety, or
Unscripted Series: <strong>Saturday Night Live</strong><br />
Awards, Music, or
Game Shows: <strong>83rd ANNUAL ACADEMY AWARDS</strong><br />
Episode of a Half
Hour Single-Camera Television Series: <strong>Modern Family</strong><br />
One-Hour
Single Camera Television Series: <strong>Boardwalk Empire</strong><br />
Television
Movie or Mini-Series: <strong>Mildred Pierce</strong><br />
<strong><br /></strong><br />
I like to take a look at the Art direction race and the very very similar Costume design race.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Art Direction.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Who Will Win/Who Should</b><b> Win</b>: Hugo definitely owns this category. not only is it a period film but it's also a fantasy film at many points at well. Over the past 10 years all the films that have won fantasy or period pieces. The Artist it's biggest competition has unknown art directer the academy rarely hands out this award to an unknown. Hugo is unlikely to win in other categories besides maybe Sound Editing and won't go home empty handed at the Oscars.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Who Could Win</b>: The Artist like many films Chicago,Return of The King,Shakespeare in Love could win this award based solely on it's best picture status. Also Laurence Bennett or Robert Gould haven't won before and the academy could decide to give them this award because of that. The Black and white factor could be a wild card.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Costume Design</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Who Will Win/Who Should Win</b>: Hugo again has period costumes and fantasy costumes which will probably lead it too victory once again their biggest competition is a unknown costume desginer(see why I put these on the same page) and Hugo won't go home empty handed.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Who Could Win</b>: The Artist I think isn't as big as a threat as in Art Direction here (). Because it doesn't have the black and white factor here. But it's best picture status and the sole fact it's desginers haven't won before could carry it through</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">

To quote Award Circuit Hindsight a Bitch. But I could talk all day about films that didn't turn out the way they should have turned out. But I'm going to talk about films that deserve to be recognized or recognized more.<br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Warrior</span>-One of the best sport films in recent memory. Transcends all of the cliques of a regular sports film, creates thrilling fights scenes with great performances all around.<br />
<br />
<b>Reason for Downside</b>: It was one of the biggest commercial disappoints of the year making a small 23 million dollars not even enough to production budget. Meaning small amount of money for advertising and a lot of people didn't see it. A lot of people consider a clique sports drama when really it was almost more of a family drama.<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Contagion</span>-A thrilling virus drama featuring an all star cast, smart script and stylish direction.<br />
<br />
<b>Reason for Downside</b>: An early release date and lack of marketing lead to it's downfall in award season.<br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Drive</span>: An amazing art house thriller with top notch acting,editing,sound mixing and direction across the board.<br />
<br />
<b>Reason for Downside</b>:Another early release date, commercial failure and lack of marketing.<br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2</span>-An thrilling magical end to one of the most influential franchises of all time. Great acting, special effects,art direction and more.<br />
<br />
<b>Reason for Downside</b>: This should have been a slam dunk but I suppose that the academy view Harry potter box office sucess and few nomitations as enough of a reward<br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Source Code</span>:Yeah I know that nobody is going to be putting this on their snubs list I am t it was definitely in my top 20 if not top 10 films of the year and and deserve to be recognized.<br />
<br />
<b>Reason for Downside</b>:Released early in the year and everyone even the studio forgot about it.<br />
<br />Ezeled42http://www.blogger.com/profile/05271165668293415651noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2906601032180548798.post-10916131659707441742012-01-31T01:04:00.000-08:002012-01-31T01:04:22.952-08:00A Look AheadWith no Award Shows in the near future and most sites having their predictions up I'll take a look at next award season.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: x-large;">Best Picture</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Lincoln</span>- A historical biopic by Steven Spielberg staring Daniel Day Lewis. This is the obvious one everyone will be talking about. However for good reason if this film is done right it could sweep the Oscars. I think this could be the year that Joesph Gordan Levitt finally wins an Oscar unless he completely splits the vote with himself. Along with plenty of other of categories. This one is definitely the favorite.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Downside</b>:Steven Spielberg is coming off War Horse in which he failed to garner an Oscar nomination for best director and wasn't very well received. Plus Daniel Day Lewis and Steven Spielberg have won before which is always a big obstacle to over come.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>

<b>Categories</b>:Best Picture,Best Director,Best Actor,Best Supporting Actor,Best Adapted Screenplay,Best Makeup,Best Costume Design,Best Art Direction,Best Score,Best Sound Editing,Best Sound Mixing,Best Editing.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;">The Dark Knight Rises</span>-With Christopher Nolan coming off Inception and The Dark Knight both huge snubs he could take the top prize based on the fact he's due alone. A great cast,box office that could go through the roof this film could potential finally get the recongization it deserves.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Downside</b>: Christopher will need to win or at least equal the Dark Knight. Also a summer blockbuster comic book movie is rarely the type of movie that Academy rewards.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br />
<b>Categories</b>:Best Picture,Best Director,Best Supporting Actor,Best Supporting Actress,Best Visual Effects,Best Sound Mixing, Best Sound Editing,Best Editing,Best Cinematography,Best Art Direction.<br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Django Unchained</span>-Quentin Tarantino is back with another film another great cast. He's definitely overdue for a best director win and Westerns have done well with the academy in the pasts few years.<br />
<br />
<b>Downside</b>:A lot of directors are overdue and Quentin Tarantino style seems to turn a lot of people off.<br />
<br />
<b>Categories</b>:Best Supporting Actor, Best Original Screenplay Best Sound Mixing,Best Sound Editing,Best Cinematography,Best Art Direction,Best Original Score,Best Editing.<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">The Hobbit An Unexpected Journey</span>-The Lord of the Rings obviously was obviously one of the biggest hits with not only the public but the academy as well. I don't even need to tell you how well The Return of the King did.<br />
<br />
<b>Downside</b>:After how well The Lord of the Rings did the academy may feel they don't need to reward him again. Also The Hobbit(the book) has a much different tone than The Lord of the Rings. If Peter Jackson keeps the same tone as Lord of the Rings it could hurt the film.<br />
<br />
<b>Categories</b>:Best Picture , Best Director,Best Adapted Screenplay,Best Visual Effects,Best Original Score,Best Sound Mixing, Best Sound Editing, Best Cinematography, Best Editing, Best Art Direction,Best Costume Design<br />
<br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;">The Master</span>-Paul Thomas Anderson is coming off There Will be Blood which is considered a masterpiece with critics and the academy. Another overdue director and writer.<br />
<br />
<b>Downside</b>: He like every director has a lot of competition and some unknown supporting actors and actress.<br />
<br />
<b>Categories</b>:Best Actor,Best Supporting Actor,Best Original Screenplay,Best Art Direction,Best Costume Design.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Brave</span>-Pixar is back with a original film basically if this film is as good as Up or Toy Story 3 then it's a lock for Best animated feature and a best picture nod. What I've heard from test screening has been very good.<br />
<br />
<b>Downside</b>: Since the invention of the best animated feature. Animated films really lose any credibly for winning best picture. Also from the trailer it doesn't look incredibly original.<br />
<br />
<b>Categories</b>:Best Animated Feature, Best Original Score,Best Sound Editing, Best Original Screenplay<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Life of Pi</span>-Ang Lee is finally directing something much better material. Depends on how you feel about Taking Woodstock. The Novel has been really well received and an modern fairy tale like this is along the lines of Slumdog Millionaire which did really well. Slumdog Millionaire was a fairy tale by the way. Child actors have received very well lately (True Grit, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close_<br />
<br />
<b>Downside</b>:Ang Lee has won before unlike the long line of director on this list and has been on a losing streak lately.<br />
<br /> </div>Ezeled42http://www.blogger.com/profile/05271165668293415651noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2906601032180548798.post-21606532332264360592012-01-29T21:22:00.000-08:002012-01-29T21:22:18.964-08:00The SAG's<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
The SAG definitely was interesting this year reopening the best actor race, illuminating the favorite in best actress,putting to bed both of the supporting races.</div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: x-large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: x-large;">Winners</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Jean Dujardin</span>-This has reopened a race that I thought had been over. This is going to come down to the wire. I still think that George Clooney is the front runner but it definitely is going to be very close race. I think that this definitely puts Brad Pitt out of the race though.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Viola Davis</span>-Viola Davis is definitely the favorite now this paired with The Help Best Ensemble will win her the Oscar . However Meryl Streep is close behind and could ride a wave of sympathy to the finish but I think once again she`ll have to settle for second place once again.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;">Christopher</span></span><span style="font-size: large;"> Plummer</span>- This puts the stamp on a race that has been finished for a long. Unless one of the biggest upsets in recent memories occurs Christopher Plummer will win the Oscar. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;">Octavia Spencer</span>-This is a bit more wide open it won't take huge upset for Octavia Spencer to lose but it would definitely take a upset for her to lose. Berenice Bejo and Melissa McCarthy are probably her biggest competition but they haven'</span><span style="text-align: center;">t won anything major. Berenice Bejo could win based solely on The Artist love but that`s unlikely. King Speech Love didn't help Helena Bohem Carter last year. Melissa McCarthy needed the SAG to have a serious chance at best supporting actress .</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;">The Help Best Ensemble</span>- I think it`s probably more important that The Artist lost this than The Help winning this stopping the sweeping of the Guilds. This is probably the first major non acting award that the Help showing that The Help does have a lot of support and showing a small(very very small) chance at best picture. </div>Ezeled42http://www.blogger.com/profile/05271165668293415651noreply@blogger.com0
